DJ Chris Read has been bubbling on the scene for a minute now, holding down a mix show on BBC 1Xtra for two years, and having various residencies rocking crowds at Ministry Of Sound, amongst others across Europe, and also playing on the likes of Radio 1's One World show, and Ninja Tunes' Solid Steel Radio.

Chris dropped an album ("Different Drummer") in 2001, and recently released his critically acclaimed mix "The Diary", which was a chronological mix of rap classics from '79 - '07, and included 801 tracks! He has also spent 11 years promoting Hip Hop / Funk / Beats night Substance, hosting everyone from KRS One to Gwen McCrae.

One of the finest DJ's on the circuit, expect to hear classic hip hop, heavyweight funk, and all manner of party beats & basslines to make you bruk out.

Residents Mo Fingaz & BobaFatt will once again be warming up the proceedings.
